Frequently asked questions
We help organisations become more effective, reduce absenteeism, and hold on to their best people by improving focus. We work with both teams and the organisation itself, so that people can concentrate without constant interruption. The result: stronger performance, less stress, and lower absenteeism.
We’re Pepijn Lochtenberg and Martijn Ruitenburg — two sports psychologists specialising in focus and performance. Our mission: more organisations where people perform at their best and still have energy left at the end of the day.
We’re based in Hilversum and work on-site at organisations across the country.
Research shows that people keep their attention on a single task for an average of just 44 seconds. The modern workplace is full of interruptions: email, chat, back-to-back meetings. That constant switching makes deep, focused work nearly impossible.
For your team: less stress, higher productivity, and more satisfaction in their work. For you as CEO: projects delivered on time, lower absenteeism, and keeping your best people.
By working on both the people and the organisation itself. Focus is about structure, behaviour, and culture. It takes a structural approach at three levels: individual, team, and organisation.
Time management training teaches useful techniques. However, techniques alone aren’t enough to drive lasting behaviour change. We work with team members on their habits and with the organisation on structure, team agreements, and leadership.
It costs time (projects run over), money (lower productivity), and people (absenteeism and turnover).
For organisations of 10–50 people where the quality of cognitive work is critical, like for people in research, consultancy, tech, finance, and legal.
The year-long programme starts at €19,700 excl. VAT, depending on the size of your organisation. We put together a tailored proposal after our initial conversation.
The Year Programme runs for at least one year. Behavioural change takes time to optimise and embed.
We spread the sessions across the year so that work can continue as normal. In the second phase (Train) we ideally plan one half-day session every 3 weeks with the team.
An organisation where people perform at a high level and are able to keep it up. In concrete terms: lower absenteeism, higher productivity, better results, and retention of your best people. The investment typically pays for itself within a year.
The Inspirational (1 hr) shows your team what better focus could do for them and provides a first set of practical tips. The Masterclass (3 hrs) goes deeper as you receive a complete picture of how to improve focus as a team, and each person leaves with a personal focus plan.
The Inspiration Session (1 hr) costs €3,150 excl. VAT. The Masterclass (3 hrs) costs €2,950 excl. VAT.
There’s no limit on participants for the Inspirational. For the Masterclass, the maximum is 30. We tailor the interaction format to suit the group size.
Inspirationals are available online. We use the Airtime app and Mentimeter to keep things dynamic and interactive.
We work with teams and organisations across a range of sectors: consultancy, tech, healthcare, education, and finance. You’ll find client names and testimonials on our homepage.
At the start and throughout the programme, we track absenteeism, productivity, uninterrupted working time, and employee satisfaction. This lets us course-correct when needed and demonstrate tangible impact.

Yes. A lot of workplace stress comes from being constantly interrupted and feeling like you have no control over your work. By making focus the norm, people experience more calm and control, which directly reduces burnout risk from work pressure.
By making sure people can work with focus and have space to recover. Much absenteeism stems from work pressure, stress, and the persistent feeling of never getting anything done. When focus improves, pressure drops and so does absenteeism.

Yes. We discuss your situation and give you our honest view of whether our approach is the right fit. If it isn’t, we’ll say so.
That depends on both our schedules. In most cases, we can get started within 4 weeks of the introductory conversation.
After year one, we evaluate together, celebrate the wins, and lock in what’s been agreed. On request, we put together a plan for year two.
You can onboard new employees yourself using the materials we share with you or you can ask us to run an extra session for the new joiners.
