Processing of Personal Data of Clients (Coaching)

Personal data of clients are processed by Focus like a Pro for the following purpose(s):

  • Administrative purposes;
  • Executing the coaching agreement.

The legal basis for processing this personal data is:

The coaching agreement;

For the above purpose(s), Focus like a Pro may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Middle name/prefix;
  • Last name;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address;
  • Gender.

Your personal data are stored by Focus like a Pro for the above processing(s) for the following period:

For the duration of the treatment agreement and thereafter for a maximum of 15 years.

Processing of Personal Data of Former Clients/Patients

Personal data of clients are processed by Focus like a Pro for the following purpose(s):

  • Administrative purposes.

The legal basis for processing this personal data is:

The coaching agreement;

For the above purpose(s), Focus like a Pro may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Middle name/prefix;
  • Last name;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address;
  • Gender.

Your personal data are stored by Focus like a Pro for the above processing(s) for the following period:

A maximum of 40 years.

Processing of Personal Data of Prospects, Stakeholder/Lobby Contacts and/or Interested Parties

Personal data of prospects, stakeholder/lobby contacts and/or interested parties are processed by Focus like a Pro for the following purpose(s):

  • Providing information in the form of newsletters and/or targeted contacts.

The legal basis for processing this personal data is:

Verbal consent, provision of a business card and/or via a connection on LinkedIn;

For the above purpose(s), Focus like a Pro may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Middle name/prefix;
  • Last name;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address;

Your personal data are stored by Focus like a Pro for the above processing(s) for the following period:

For the period during which the person is considered a prospect, stakeholder/lobby contact and/or interested party.

Disclosure to Third Parties

The data you provide to us may be shared with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party for:

  • Providing the internet environment of the GDPR programme;
  • Providing the (financial) administration.

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a data processing agreement. With these parties (processors) we naturally make the necessary arrangements to ensure the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the data you have provided to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted.

An example of this is when the police request (personal) data from us in the context of an investigation. In such a case, we are required to cooperate and are therefore obliged to provide these data. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us written permission to do so.

Within the EU

We do not provide personal data to parties established outside the EU.

Minors

We only process personal data of minors (persons under the age of 16) if written consent has been given by the parent, guardian or legal representative.

Retention Period

Focus like a Pro does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or as required by law.

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing. For example, we have taken the following measures:

  • All persons who can access your data on behalf of Focus like a Pro are bound by a duty of confidentiality.

  • We pseudonymise and ensure the encryption of personal data where appropriate;
  • We make backups of personal data in order to be able to restore them in the event of physical or technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our employees are informed about the importance of the protection of personal data.

Rights Regarding Your Data

You have the right to access, rectify or delete the personal data we have received from you. You may also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to have the data you have provided transferred by us to yourself or, on your behalf, directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can act on the aforementioned requests.

Where we are permitted to process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you always have the right to withdraw that consent.

Complaints

Should you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us directly about this. If we are unable to resolve the matter together, we naturally find this very unfortunate. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), which is the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection.
