We have been working since 2012 as sport and performance psychologists with athletes and corporate professionals to improve focus. As a duo we partner with organisations to sustain better focus, enabling people to perform well and return home feeling energetic.
It takes a plan, structure, and consistent practice to thrive. The same is true for focus in your organisation: a one-off training won’t change anything, a structured, goal-driven programme will.
That’s why we work as a duo across all levels of your organisation for at least a year. Pepijn keeps a sharp eye on results; Martijn makes sure everyone moves forward with energy and momentum.
Together, we make sure focus isn't just a temporary boost. It becomes the new standard.
We met in 2009, while training to become sports psychologists.
A few months in, we were each asked two questions:
1. Who would you most like to work with on a tough assignment?
2. Who would you most like to go out with for drinks?
We both wrote down each other’s name.
That’s when the partnership was born.
After graduating in 2012, we worked together with Rico Schuijers. We were responsible for delivering the training ‘Focus’ as part of the Mental Strength programme for the Dutch police force. Rico taught us to make every concept hands-on and to let people experience how change actually works.
In 2015, we started our own company and specialised in Acceptance & Commitment Training (ACT): learning to handle discomfort flexibly. For example staying sharp under pressure and pushing through when things get tedious.
Since 2015, we’ve worked with a wide range of organisations: from hospitals and tech companies to government bodies and small companies.
Everywhere we go, we see the same thing: focus is massively undervalued.
Smart, talented people perform below their potential simply because they're constantly interrupted.
Our inspirationals and masterclasses are always well received. Participants leave energised and the feedback is great. But a few weeks later, most teams slide back into the same old patterns.
Organisations that make focus a structural priority do achieve lasting change: a leader who walks the talk, team norms that make deep work the default, and hands-on coaching as new habits take hold.
That’s where real change happens.
It’s why we now work exclusively with year-long programmes.
We are not consultants who give advice from the sidelines. We know first-hand what it’s like to juggle running a business, raising a family, and competing at a high level in sport.
Every day, we face the same choices: what actually matters right now?
We too have clients and partners who want to be able to reach us.
But never at the expense of our focus.
We live by the same principles we teach.
And we see it works, every day.
We want the same for you.

“They regularly check in whether the session meets expectations or if there are any questions. Feedback is handled throughout the session, without disrupting the programme. The dynamic between the two trainers is pleasant. It’s great that a topic like this is tackled by both gentlemen in this way, without making it feel overly heavy.”
”They adapt perfectly to the audience and switch gears effortlessly. As a duo, they are truly strong. They have known each other for a long time, complement each other well, and that energy radiates through the group. They are different: one a bit more business-like, the other a bit more relaxed. It is precisely that dynamic that creates energy and makes the training come alive.”

It is a pleasure to work with Martijn; he combines his expertise with an enthusiastic, motivating and interactive approach. The course strikes a good balance between theory and practical exercises, offering plenty of space for personal reflection. It is directly applicable both at work and in everyday life!”
